AI Experts for the Hub (×2)
Two AI experts staffing the Science Facilitation Hub.
Both positions are currently being filled — interviews underway. More about what the Hub roles entail, and the kind of work they involve, just below.

Your future workspace
Hub work happens in HT’s open, modern research spaces — with real biological data, real research questions, and direct access to the experimental groups using your methods.
About the Hub role
What the Science Facilitation Hub recruitment specifically looks like.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Be the Hub.
Hold weekly consultancy hours for HT colleagues seeking to evaluate or implement AI solutions. Lead short, well-scoped proof-of-concept studies on real HT data. When prototypes show clear scientific potential, help them graduate into formal collaborative projects. Maintain an institute-wide overview of AI activities and promote reuse of code, models, and best practices.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Strong AI expertise, scientific instinct.
PhD or equivalent experience in machine learning, scientific computing, or a closely related field. Comfortable across the modern AI toolkit (deep learning, generative models, agentic AI). A track record of producing useful, reusable software — not just papers. Curious about biology and medicine; happy to learn the domain quickly when a new collaboration starts.
How to apply
Specific postings have their own application links above. For the Hub roles — or to introduce yourself for a future opening — please apply through HT’s research talent pool.
