We’re hiring: a postdoctoral position in Philipp Erdmann’s group, embedded in the Scientific AI Flagship.
The role: build intelligent automation for the SOLIST platform — machine learning and computer vision for cryo-electron tomography, integrating real-time experimental control with AI for high-throughput imaging at molecular resolution.
You’d bring a PhD in CS, physics, engineering or close cousins; hands-on ML on real data; and the software engineering practices that make research systems actually run (Python, C++, testing, version control).
Four-year contract. Deadline: 4 June 2026.
